Nourish + Nosh: Intuitive Eating for Vibrant Health

Time: Tuesday, June 12, at 4 p EST

Eating for “health” is quickly becoming the new paradigm in disordered eating. Yes, you heard me correctly: disordered eating.

Maybe you’re not on a diet –or even overweight– but are you consciously {or unconsciously} putting food into categories like bad/good, healthy/unhealthy, allowed/forbidden?

Do you obsess about low-carb, no-carb, zero-fat, low-fat, and the points in  your lunch?

Are you an unconscious dieter? Do you self-medicate with caffeine, chocolate, or sweets to battle energy deficiency? Is ‘eating healthy’ an obsession?

Do you struggle to eat PERFECTLY, controlling every mouthful, counting every calorie, and avoiding the ‘forbidden’ high-fat or high-carb foods?

What if you could find freedom at mealtime? What if you could eat like a 2 year old again? Seeking out food when you’re hungry, rather then when you’re stressed or emotional or famished beyond the point of conscious eating.

That’s exactly what it means to eat intuitively.

Eating intuitively means listening to your own intuition, learning to trust your body, and digging down deep to find your motivations for nourishment. Eating intuitively means viewing food as FOOD. The concept is simple, the questions you ask yourself are tough, and the benefits far outweigh the effort.

Quit turning mealtime into another opportunity to should all over yourself.
